Hi, my name is Donna Belanger, and I am proud to be a Canadian CruiseMate.
I live in Montreal, Quebec, with my cruise-addicted husband James, and my
son, 18, a veteran of 5 cruises himself.
I also have a 23 yr old daughter (1 cruise), and James has 2 grown
children (1 cruise).
In 1995, James introduced me to cruising with a 4 day "trial" cruise on
Royal Caribbean's Nordic Empress. It was a "trial" to see if I got
sea-sick! I didn't, and the rest as they say, is history. I told him then
and there, "if we ever do this again, it's GOT to be more than 4 days!"
Since then, we have honeymooned on a cruise, and taken 7 more wonderful
cruises, some with family, some without, and neither of us are content
until we have the next one booked!
I believe cruises are the best vacations for women; you only pack once,
and you don't have to cook, clean, or make beds, and you can do as much or
as little as you want on board or in port. You are waited on hand and
foot, and the food and entertainment are excellent! What more could you
ask for?
