My name is Mary Lou Scanlon and I admit I am addicted to cruising. I only began my cruising life three years ago for my 40th birthday and I fell in love with the whole idea of cruising. Since my first cruise, I have cruised once a year and hope to at least continue at this pace until retirement. Then I hope to cruise much more often. In my humble opinion, there just isn't a better way to vacation.
I was born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. My husband, Gary, and I have been married for 25 years and we have two great children. Jackie is 23 and Matthew is 20. When I'm not immersed in cruising, I work as an accounting manager for a scaffolding company here in Pittsburgh. I have been there for 13 years.
I am so happy that I "stumbled upon" the CruiseMates site when I was researching my first cruise. I have found a wonderful community of friends and a wealth of information and I am honored to be a part of CruiseMates.
