Family-focused summer vacation specials for Europe, New England/Canada and Alaska
When it comes to family vacations options it is hard to beat a cruise for value, convenience and variety. This is especially true in destinations where mom and dad may want the option to “go their own way” for short periods of time. For example, Europe is a fascinating and enriching experience for people of all ages, but while the kids will love a stroll along “Las Ramblas” in Barcelona, they could get easily get bored exploring every nook and cranny of the amazing La Sagrada Familia cathedral designed by Salvador Dali.
Cruise ships give parents the option of taking the kids on tour, or letting them stay on board in adult-coordinated youth activities, or the kids can even spend the day in a separate shore tour specifically tailor made for younger people but also fully adult supervised. The same is true of special dinners or even afternoon naps – getting free time during a vacation with the kids is never a problem on a cruise ship.
