Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Wind

Our recent "group" cruise was a little disappointing in that it was almost impossible to get dining reservations for the entire group, no matter how we tried. They have four no charge restaurants, but three have the same menu and the fourth is a very limited buffet. The ports of call are definitely the highlights for this cruise, which was bargain priced. Belize was amazing, Cozumel was very lively, Grand Cayman suitably refined. Our group's favorite stop was Roatan where we had the pleasure of visiting the CSIRoatan.com orphanage and ministry. We'd heard about Brad and Debbie, and the wonderful things they were doing here, and made arrangements with them through their website to visit and drop off school supplies.

A tour of their ambitious compound will lift your heart, as you see what a future they hope to provide to the island's children. Get in touch via e-mail prior to a visit and let them show you how love and faith can change lives. Along with Leah, who is the "house Mother" to the kids, Brad and Debbie have dedicated their lives to helping these children. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and went away wanting to help in any way we can. Pay them a visit if you get to Roatan. It may well be the highlight of your cruise.
