Seabourn needs new customers! For years Seabourn had just three 200-guest vessels, but last year they introduced the brand new 450-passenger Seabourn Odyssey, and this June they add sister ship Seabourn Sojourn. The line has now effectively tripled its passenger capacity within the space of one year.
So we have the Seabourn one-week sale already in progress until Friday (4-10-10). 27 different cruises departing between June and August, 2010, are on sale - limited to new bookings only.
Examples: seven-day Mediterranean cruises aboard Seabourn Spirit, Seabourn Legend, and Seabourn Odyssey begin at $2,499 per person for cruise-only, or $3,550 with airfare included. Nine-to-12-day voyages on the brand new Seabourn Sojourn in Northern Europe start from $4,999 cruise-only or $6,400 with air. Cruises of 10 to 14 days in Asia aboard Seabourn Pride start from $3,499 cruise-only and $5,400 with air.
In Asia, the 200-guest Seabourn Pride has a 10-day China Journey cruise from Hong Kong to Taiwan, two days in Shanghai and on to Qingdao and Xingang. This cruise starts at $2649. There are five 12-day Asian cruises on three different itineraries starting at $5700 per person. The "Japan, Korea and China" cruise goes to Kobe, Kagoshima and Nagasaki Japan; Busan, Jeju and Mokpo South Korea; Qingdao Japan; Jiangyin and Shanghai China. This cruise sails on June 23 and August 10, 2010.
July 17 brings the "Thailand, Vietnam & China" cruise from Shanghai to Xiamen, Hong Kong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Ko Kood and Bangkok, Thailand. July 5 has the same itinerary in reverse.
There several different seven-day European sailings starting as low as $2499 per person on the older and smaller Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend, and starting at $2999 on the newer Seabourn Odyssey.
European options include the "Italian Mosaic" on the western Amalfi Coast of Italy, roundtrip Rome and in port every single day on Seabourn Spirit starting at $2499. You visit Ponza Island Italy; Trapani and Taormina (Sicily); Valetta Malta and Amalfi and Gaeta, Italy.
Optionally, you can sail the Adriatic side of the boot, and visit Lipari Island, Italy; Corfu, Greece; Brindisi, Italy; Korcula and Rovinj Croatia and end in Venice. Also $2499 per person.
If you prefer to go further east you can opt for the cruise from Athens to the Greek Isles of Mylos, Rhodes, Patmos and Khylos. You then see Ephesus, the ancient city in Turkey, cruise through the famous straits of the Dardanelles during daylight (a rare treat) and end in Istanbul, Turkey.
If a Northern European cruise is your ideal, the brand new Seabourn Sojourn is sailing a 14-day trek commencing August 8 from Copenhagen to several cities in Norway; Flaam, Aalesund, Olden, Bergen and the famous Geirangfjord Fjord. You then cross over to Scotland to visit Lerwick in the Shetland Islands, Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands, Invergordon and two days in beautiful Edinburgh. Prices for the 14-day cruise on the brand new ship start at $5999 per person.
Please visit www.seabourn.com for more details on this one-week sale, or call one of the travel agents to the left. Any cruise agent will be happy to assist you in booking these cruises at the same prices as listed and take care of other trip details as well.
Remember, the sale ends April 10, Friday. Optionally, you can pay the scheduled rates for these cruises (not the brochure fares, those were set last year and are no longer applicable), and receive two for one round trip air. Inclusive air is available from 40 North American gateways. All fares are per person, based on double occupancy.
