NCL is offering an excellent product now, with the Freestyle 2.0 upgrades. I hope through reading the blog folks who haven’t tried NCL yet, perhaps because of past reputations, give em a try. They just have to put their “traditional” expectations behind them, and no doubt they’d enjoy the Jewel, Gem or Pearl.

Hi Kuki — I’ve enjoyed your Jewel blog very much, and look forward to seeing you and Geela at lunch tomorrow (Sunday) if that’s still on your agenda. Kim and I have cruised on the Jewel three times (and once on the Pearl), and have always enjoyed them no matter which of the itineraries we sailed. In fact, on our most recent Jewel cruise (Jan.’08) we were in MiniSuite #11154, which would be almost directly above your present location. Your blog has brought back some fond memories for Kim and myself, especially your mention of the Cirque Bijou, which we’ve marveled at on 3 occasions. We’re sold on Freestyle Dining, as you might imagine, as we are on NCL in general. Thanks again for such an entertaining blog.

Hi Kuki, Great to see that you guys are enjoying yourselves. Please say hello to all the “gang” for us. We are in Ft. Lauderdale and leaving for Barcelona in a few hours. Will be getting on the Navigator of the Seas for our Transatlantic cruise. Should be back home on Nov.22nd. Sure hope your weather does go down hill any worse from that hurricane. I envy you! I’ll gladly come back to share this suite with you, and promise not to… well you know.

I’m going to hide something in the cabin for you. If you find it let me know.

My Dad is unfortunately still in the hospital. He’s having good days and not so good. But I am looking for being there for him and when we get back Sunday night. Hopefully seeing me, and hearing our stories will give him a lift.

Glad to hear your Dad is somewhat better, and you will be remaining on board, taking care of our suite. We will be resting our heads there on the nine night southern, starting 13 Dec. Sooo, don’t rip one in there, save them for the elevator. We walk the stairs.

Thats a big storm near you. Forecasts it may become a cat 3 time it hits Cuba.

I saw Da Coot doing what he loves the most Bowling. Maybe the thing in his hand it not as heavy as a 16 pounder but the results could be the same or better on the screen.

So today 7th Nov you all be in Mexico again and then the 2 sea days coming home to Mia. You all may hit some rough weather so be aware. use your meds to the roughness if you need.
