Keep it with you and plan to leave your cabin when S/D are called for, after ship clear customs, usually around 7:45 a.m. Call Carnival to ask which ports allow self-debarkation. I know that Miami and Tampa allow it. We used it in Tampa on Inspiration in January and loved it. Off ship by7:45 a.m., in car by 8:15 a.m.
