Hi Lynn,

Oh ya. One of the best tips my brother gave me for my first cruise was to take one of those colapsable soft cooler bags and zip locks.

Order room services sandwhiches for shore tours. Ask for the lettuce and tomatoes and other things like mayo mustard catsup in packets. Pack some ice in a zip lock and put it in another so it doesn't leak. pack up cookies chips and you have a nice lunch. Sometimes we eat our lunch on the tender to shore. Sometimes on the bus /van. Or when they stop at a place that sells food we save money. Plus we know what we are eating is safe. I have friends with a larger family that takes a soft sided rolling cooler bag. They use it on shore tours and in the cabin. then they pack their treasures in it for the trip home.

Hope it helps.
Carol
