Without knowing the exact cabin, it is hard to say if it is a good location. You have cabins and the spa above you and cabins below. In my opinion, if it is 1042 or higher then it is fine, closer to the middle of the ship, elevators, and stairs. It is great for a balcony guarantee. If it is a cabin lower than that then it is closer to front of the ship and we have experienced more movement and wind when on our balcony. You are also under the gym. This happened to us recently and it was awful. The treadmills were right above us, waking us up every morning at 7 am. If it says you have an upper berth then you have room for 3 people. Your cabin steward has a key to let it down if needed. If there are only 2 of you, you will never see it. Hope this helps. Have a great cruise.
