It is actually about a ten minute drive to the east on 109. Follow the signs to MayPort Naval Station.
There are actually three (3) areas...Atlantic, Neptune and Jacksonville Beaches.
109 dumps you right on the main beach road.
Just hang a left and go north about 2 miles. When the road ends, Atlantic Beach is on the right. |
I screwed up. Take 113 which turns into 10 and puts you at the beach.
You can also take 105 (not 109) to Mayport. This will put you at the terminal for the gambling ships....and a couple blocks from the beach. |
