Default A Different Kind of Cruise;)

Michael Palin, from Monty Python has a show on the Travel Channel, which is very interesting. The show about Poland, highlighted, this unusual canal cruise.

This narrow boat, has to traverse a course that goes up 360 miles from the start to finish, so this boat stops in the canal, and is cradled, then pulled up onto the land, to really become a train, it is then gently put back into the water, and in total will do this 5 times, before it reaches it's destination. To watch this, was fascinating, although the farmers working alongside the boat, never blinked an eyelash:)

Have any of our savvy travelers seen, or done this?
