I cruised out of SFO for my Alaskan cruise. The taxi will take you in front of the pier and porters will be waiting to take you luggage so don't worry. Just be certain to have your luggage tags on the bags before getting to the pier. SFO is not an easy town to drive in and there will be a lot of traffic getting to the pier. Just be patient and allow enough time. Have a great time cruising under the Golden Gate.
