Default BLUE LAGOON CRUISES MYSTIQUE PRINCESS RIPOFF

FALSE ADVERTISING WARNING. MYSTIQUE PRINCESS transfer to FIJI PRINCESS is a deceptive switch.

When you book the 5 star Mystique Princess 4 day cruise around the Fijian Yasawa Islands, if they have too few bookings you are switched to the 4 star Fiji Princess catamaran. In all seriousness the Fiji Princess could never be described as 5 star. But Blue Lagoon Cruises is happy to advertise its flagship Mystique Princess as 5 star. When you complain after returning home, they claim the switch is 4-star to 4-star. How convenient. So no refund of the difference. The cabins are 6 SQUARE METRES BIGGER on the Mystique. The Mystique is hired out for weddings (probably why you never get to see it - even though you have paid for it). The Fiji Princess couldn't possibly be used to host a luxury wedding.

It's an all round bad move on Blue Lagoon's part, and very stupid, because there are enough good things happening in Fiji - and even on the Fiji Princess. It just isn't the luxury you paid for.

Please DON'T TAKE THE 4 DAY CRUISE suitched to the first 4 days of a 7 DAY CRUISE on a 4 STAR SHIP at 5 STAR PRICES. You'll end up on a less than satisfactory boat - and never even reach the destination you paid for.

Take the 7 day cruise if you must, but remember this company refuses to advertise properly. Their FAQ page clearly refers to a 5 star 4 day cruise, but they lie to you when you point this out to them.

Flight Centre which fronts for BLC goes along with the scam too. A travel agent to avoid like the plague. (Told us that the BLC FAQ page wasn't advertising, therefore it wasn't fraudulent! Seriously! So it's advertising only when it's convenient for them. NEVER USE THIS TRAVEL AGENT - EVER. Complete bs.)
