I'm sorry, did any of you who responded to my post actually read what I wrote?

I am overweight by choice. Not by disease, or genetics. It's obviously how I choose to be, because I could make the choice to be smaller by eating less and moving more. I get that. I'm not making excuses for myself at all.

I do think that it would be discrimatory though to charge by the pound for those who have an ideal weight for their frame. Which is why it will never work for airlines to have us pay by the pound for our own seats. Why should a tiny woman pay less for her seat than an average sized man?
