Yes the Mariner has a rock wall, ice skating and Johnny Rockets. It does not have the flow rider. It is a wonderful ship with great art work in the stairs. Even though we have done the Mexico route too many times, we will go just for the ship. I knew the Monarch was leaving for Cape Canaveral but had not heard the SOS was replacing it. I wish something a little newer would replace it instead. I did hear the Radiance will be in San Diego. Another beautiful ship.
To bad about the flowrider but hey the ice rink makes up for it.
Here is what the USA today says,
"Royal Caribbean also announced that the 90,000-ton Radiance of the Seas will sail four- and five-night Mexican Riviera voyages from the West Coast in the fall of 2009, becoming the newest and largest ship to sail short cruises from the region.
Mariner's itinerary includes stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. Radiance will call at Cabo and (on five-night itineraries) Ensenada."
Ensenada is not my favorite.
But I could do the 7 day again.
