...ELIDA EXPECTED TO DEGENERATE TO A REMNANT LOW TODAY...

AT 800 AM PDT...1500Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION ELIDA WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 17.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE 132.1 WEST OR ABOUT
1480 MILES...2380 KM...WEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 12 MPH...AND ELIDA OR
ITS REMNANTS ARE FORECAST TO CONTINUE MOVING GENERALLY WESTWARD AT
ABOUT THE SAME FORWARD SPEED DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. WEAKENING IS FORECAST TODAY...AND ELIDA WILL LIKELY BECOME A
REMNANT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THIS AFTERNOON.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1005 MB...29.68 INCHES.
