Aboard "Mariner of the Seas" everyday at lunch in the dining room, men (including me) were asked to remove their hats, or caps upon entering the dining room. Just as soon as they sat down, the hats and caps were usually put right back on their heads, and nothing more was ever said about it, until the next day, when we were once again asked to remove our covers? No one was ever ejected, but no one ever refused to remove their hat, (until they sat down)? Seemed strange to me, but it was a regular thing aboard that ship?????
