As most of you wrote, our cruises are also paid in full before leaving. This whole credit card gambit is out of control, I see it daily being a business owner of an oil company. Too many people have no idea what a budget is nor how to even begin one! I have had it up to well, HERE with listening to all the sad sack stories and horrendous excuses as to why they didn't pay this or didn't pay that. Now, losing employment or when something unexpected occurs is a different story. I've extended credit to many at times that hit a rough time, and most of them or all of them deeply appreciated it.

And the sadest part is the fact that children learn from parents and if parents max out CC's and then say they are not responsible for paying it back, then sadly the children will do the same thing! It's a vicious cycle that has got to stop.
