$5 is a popular CRAPS table minimum but often it's $10 or more at busy times. Generally its about the same as you will find at a blackjack table. The big difference is that you can sit down at a blackjack table with $5 and play a hand and have the low house edge with good strategy, where you need $30 at the CRAPS table ($5 for your minimum pass line bet and $25 for your 5x odds to get the house edge down). Generally $30-$70 a hand is what I consider average for a round of Craps with a $5 minimum and you need $100 to step up to the table.
