I agree -- my daughter didn't get seasick much until she was older -- old enough to take dramamine.

In the meantime, I do always carry seabands for myself and the kids. They apply pressure to points on the wrist and help combat seasickness. Also bring a box of ginger cookies to help settle tummies.
