Just went out to the Galveston Webcam and saw the Ecstasy there. I am glad Carnival is back in Galveston. It is good to see the area recovering from the hurricane. I have a question. If the Ecstasy docks at Puerta Maya pier, will you need a taxi to get to downtown, or are there shops near the pier. If you need a taxi, do you pay in Pesos or US dollars. When we sailed in January, we docked at Punta Longosta and didn't need a taxi. We sail again in January 2009 and need this information to plan. Thanks for your help.
