Katlady, Celebrity is so nice, you are treated like a queen on that line- you are welcomed with a drink, escorted to your stateroom- even if you are in the lowliest inside! and it doesn't stop-anytime you eat in the Lido, your tray is carried for you, the food is superb, almost as good as their pay extra restaurant- I find the food on Celebrity better than any of the other lines I have been on. Plus Celebrity has plenty of stuff going on until around 1 am. Celebrity is very nice. I also like the nice little touches like your steward keeping you with a pitcher of ice water and the ice never melting-as he refills it both morning and evening.
See everyone's cruising experience is different. I hated Celebrity. It started out okay they welcomed me with a drink and escorted me to my stateroom. However, never once did they carry my tray in Lido, the buffet food was terrible. What surprised me the most as how bad the dining room food was; who messes up Prime Rib??? The shrimp was horrible (chewy and overcooked). Celebrity didn't have very many fun activities. Mainly they try to sell us teeth whitening on board. The ship was never clean. They didn't vacuum enough and there were empty wrappers everywhere.

The best thing about that cruise was the wait staff in the dining room and the main shows. However, my experience may not be normal. They could of had a bad 12 days. Based on this experience, plus no towel animals we won't cruise Celebrity again. My hubby agrees.
My next crusie is on NCL and I understand they have towel animals-! I also keep hearing their food is terrible unless you go to Cagneys or le Bistro. I won't let it bother me! I honestly can't believe food could be worse than it was on RCI Mariner of the seas-now th ebuffet was good-itr was the main dinningroom that was terrible on that ship. The Caribbean princess was a little betterin the main dinnngroom, the buffet was awful. However, on the original Pacific Princess the food was GREAT. Of my four Carnival cruises, three had great food, one did't-the Carnival Inspiration.

Both of my Celebrity cruises had good food in both the dinngroom and the buffet areas and I had a porterhouse to die for on the Zenith in the main dinngroom, (no pay extra on that ship) as good as the filet mignons I have had in the pay extra dinningrooms on other ships.

HAL had great food too, although it seems to stay more to "regular fare" and not so much on the exotic.
