Default Veteran's Can Now Officially Hand Salute at National Anthem

To all fellow Vets,

Veterans in civilian clothes along with active duty personnel out of uniform are now authorized to render a military hand salute at an event whereat the National Anthem is played. By some quirk, Veteran's have always been authorized to render a hand salute at the raising and lowering of the flag but until 30 Oct this year, not at the playing of the National Anthem.

I encourage all of my fellow cruisemates who are vets to signify their status along with their support for active duty personnel, by a military hand salute at the next appropriate opportunity.
