With the very first post in this thread, I admit, at first I was skeptical... mostly because of this one portion of the post
The food was not half as good as HAL. I did not eat in the main dining room, but the buffet was awful.
- I just couldn't understand how anyone could judge the food, when they've adimitted (that for whatever reason) they ate only in the buffet.
But, the rest of the complaints seemed pretty valid, and they've been added to by others on the same sailing. The complaints seem perfectly reasonable to me, and I don't think the compensation offered was adequate.
It certainly would be if all that was involved was the itinerary change... but for whatever reason this ship doesn't seem like it was ready for "prime time" when she sailed. And the cruise line should be held responsible for the problematic onboard experience.
