Assuming your baby is old enough to be brought on the boat, there is nothing wrong with bringing him/her ... just realize that you're really not going to have a relaxing cruise because you'll always be saddled with the child. The children's programs onboard most ships require participants to be potty trained, so unless you can snag a babysitter, you're gonna have to bring the child along everywhere you go.

Now some ships offer a nursery or babysitting service (for an extra fee), and I would suggest to sail one of those ships so that you can at least get some hours to yourselves while on vacation.
