The vast majority of these "last minute" bookings are only available to new bookings. Existing bookings cannot take advantage of them.

I would call your TA and have them check it out for you but don't be too optimistic.

Carnival has ceased giving onboard credit to people who find that their cruise price has dropped after final payment.
