I have less than 3 weeks to go, and we are traveling with a 5 yr old.

I understand how you feel, especially with with a child, but I think you are over-reacting right now. A lot can happen in 3 weeks and most likely this will peter out. If it gets worse even RCL should make any necessary changes.
