Default Traveling with mom

Hello there,

I was hoping you might have some advice for me. My mother, who will be 80 soon and is a first time cruiser (it's my birthday gift to her) is going on a short 5 day cruise. She can walk, slowly, but probably won't be able to tour the whole ship on her feet.

Do they have wheelchairs abord that you can rent or should I bring on on with me? Not that she uses one now, but might make her trip more enjoyable if she knew she had one available. I know mom has never used a walker but perhaps that would that be a better option to use?

I'm also contemplating the shore excursions but, because of the fact that she tires easliy when she does do alot of activity, I'm not sure that would be advisable?

Your thoughts would be most appreciated.
