on a serious note..with airlines charging extra for bags, the more you can mix and match off one basic color (black for instance) then the less you have to pack, which is why a nice pair of black slacks with 2-3 tops and accessories seem to work for both formal night and every other night..it also makes it easier for us men to be color coordinated
