Not sailing the pride but was on her on her maiden voyages out of NYC in 2003. Nice ship, enjoy your trip. Dress codes, so what! If you don't want to dress up - DON'T. Only thing you need at dinner is dress slacks for men and slacks, capris, or coulouttes (I know didn't spell right). They just don't want you in shorts or jeans and I have to say recent voyage on the miracle they let them in in whatever the heck they had on. Formal night is pantsuits, etc for ladies, jacket and slacks with dresshirt for men, no tie needed if they don't want one on. If you don't want to dress up eat on the lido deck at the buffet. You are on vacation, enjoy yourself is our motto. We did dressy stuff our first cruise and didn't do another dressy event until last year when we renewed our vows. Hubby and I aren't dressy people and that's the last thing we want to do on vacation. And by the way, they have washing machines on board so you can take as little clothes as you want and wash whatever you need to wash. Enjoy the pride she's a beautiful ship and the employees will go out of their way to make sure your trip is an enjoyable one. Happy sailing
