I'm surprised to hear that. They will allow service dogs but I've never heard of a pet dog.

Cunard allows it but they have also done so.

Service dogs come in all sizes and breeds these days. How do you know it wasn't actually a service dog of some type?

They do have an area for service dogs to do their "thing". Apparently they put down some sort of artifical turf stuff.
