AT 800 AM PDT...1500 UTC...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE-E
WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 14.9 NORTH...LONGITUDE 123.1 WEST OR ABOUT
1025 MILES...1650 KM...WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA
CALIFORNIA.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 9 MPH...15 KM/HR. A
WEST TO WEST-NORTHWESTWARD MOTION WITH A SLIGHT INCREASE IN FORWARD
SPEED IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
