Paul Motter,

Thanks for a fair and honest comparison about the service on cruise lines and the slight differences between most mainstream/premium cruise lines when it comes to onboard service.

I usually cruise about once a year , but I just booked my 3rd cruise, this year, on Princess. The Princess bargains of $299 for a week cruise to Alaska proved too much to resist this spring. The service on Princess was just outstanding on my first two cruises this year.

I may have just been lucky but I have been blessed with good service on all cruise lines. What I now focus in on in when selecting a cruise line is the ship condition, reliability and the way management reacts when there is a problem. Over the past several years, Princess has moved way ahead in those two departments.

With integrity nothing else matters; without it nothing else matters.
