This is a BAD idea. It was the muster drill that ensured we knew how to put on our vests and found out that the clasp on our son's vest was broken and would not have held him at all. I hate the muster drill too, but people have to know what to do and how to do it or they will run around in a panic if a real emergency occurs. I'll be sure to inspect my vests anyway each cruise. (If I go again, seems they want to charge for babies)
