If you're a member of AAA, you can get several Hawaii maps. They also have a book about all the islands. It lists all the hotels, places to visit and to dine. If you're not a member, perhaps a friend who is, could pick one up for you.
The library is also a good source of free material.
You can also search the web for Hawaii and order brochures and information about each individual island.
