Kuki,
Been following the leads on some cabins. Some of my recent findings are these:
CARNIVAL GLORY (also Conquest, Valor, Liberty & Freedom): Deck 2-Main. (I hate having names. Who wants to memorize while on vacation?)
Cabins 2470, 2474, 2473, 2477.
PROS: These are all HUMONGOUS oceanview corner staterooms with over 275 sq. ft. of sitting space, more than ample clothing storage, double sets of windows for plenty of light. No need to wait for the elevators upon embarkation & ports. Just go up a flight of stairs! If you are a super light sleeper you'll feel the slight engine rumble. I actually sleep with a sound machine on, so the white noise is nice & i prefer being on lower decks.
CONS: Minor, but a few... These staterooms are located in the aft corners of the ship. It's a long walk to the back corner, but justifies that extra food on your plate. You may be awakened around 7:30am by the rear thrusters that park the ship on port days. But that only takes a few minutes. Lastly, the tv only has a 13 inch screen & is somewhat far from the bed. But then again, you're on vacation & can watch tv at home.
ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS: Balcony cabin 6324.
This balcony cabin is on the aft portion of the hump. Great view of the ocean, pilot and everyone else below & behind you. At the same time, everyone else above & towards the back gets a glimpse.
I am heading back to the Radiance OTS again this coming February. I was in a hump balcony cabin on deck 7 last time. This time around I am will be in an accessible room for post surgery needs. Should be roomy.
Safe & Happy Travels,
