Personally, I do my best to dress formally on formal nights and for dinner in the dining room. However, I must say that the fact that I dress up every day for work does mean that I tend to dress down as often as possible on a cruise. We often skip the formal dining room simply because I just don't feel like getting dressed up and we are still of the opinion that to dress down in the dining room isn't really polite. I love the fancy parts of cruising but I have to admit, there is a part of me that would be very happy not to see a high heal shoe for an entire week ; )
