The Barefoot Beach area has a 3.5 foot concrete wall with iron gates that enclose the area. You can only get into the area if you have a gold seapass card (Grand Suite or higher) or have rented a cabanna. The upgraded buffett includes Shirimp and Steak; otherwise, it's the same food. Beach chairs in barefoot beach are free just like they are outside barefoot beach (same exact chairs).

These changes are all apart of Royal Caribbean's efforts to enhance the "suite" program; by offering exclusive rights and places to those who spend the extra $$ on the nicer cabin. Those that use the majority of Labadee still get a good buffett with dog, burgers, ribs, chicken; they just don't get the steak and shrimps.

Donna - you are correct; rental of the cabanna's is limited to first come first serve; however, tiered to suite guests, then diamond plus, then diamond, and so forth. Since they only have built 12 units; it was considered only fair to tier how they distribute the availibility of the units to those guests who paid a premium to sail with them.
