I understand what you are saying - but I just don't agree with the need to tip a dealer. He is going to do whatevr his cards tell him to do - he is not playing against you. Especially in Vegas where they are not even allowed to talk.

Now - if I have a nice dealer in a casino who warns me NOT to hit on the 18 I have showing when I am too distracted to see what I doing - THEN I might leave a tip if I am winning, but I never win, so....

I would never tip an attendent - that is their job. In fact, I never even heard of such a thing.

I would rather give the money to another gambler who looks like they just lost their last nickel than give it to the attendent. I know the casino has THEIR money.
