We were recently on a Carnival ship (don't remember which one) where they asked that we "save" the advertisement flyers, and other paperwork that they include with the "Caper" or "FunTimes" so that it could be recycled! I thought it was a pretty good idea, as I too always just throw all that extra paper into the trash can.
