I just got back from the Inspiration while traveling with my 13 year old. At no time was I asked for the paperwork allowing me to travel alone with her. With that being said - I carried it with me at all times, even on shore excursions. In fact I had 2 copies - one in the stateroom safe. The mess of being in a foreign country and not having that piece of paper was not worth it for me. I have Quicken and a "free" program that came with it is Willmaker. That also has other forms and one of them is a travel form. I may have been lucky in that my daughter looks 15 - 16 years old and can speak for herself had she been asked by the customs agents if her dad knew she was traveling. Whereas a small child could not do that as easily.
