Hi, my friends!
Well, my bags are packed and sitting in the hallway, as my 2 weeks on the Oasis comes to an end.
That means someone else will be sleeping in my bed tomorrow night!
We have had a wonderful time. As everyone has said, the ship is amazing! I'm glad we did 2 weeks, because we really didn't see everything last week, and we certainly didn't slow down enough to truly enjoy it.
I'm not very good at the review thing, but when we get home, I'll share some of my thoughts about the ship.
The highlight........ are you ready.........
I met T M! Our very own T M, Manual! Don asked the cruise director about a veterans meeting. He explained to simply post it on the community board, by Guest Services. Don asked him to put it in the Cruise Compass, and he did so. (Big thanks to Ken for doing this!) Manual came to the veteran's meeting and he and Don started talking, and he told Manual that I post on here, and the rest is history! I had seen that he would be on this sailing, but figured "what are the odds of our paths crossing... over 5,000 passengers! It was so nice to visit with him and wife, and hopefully we will be sailing on a CM group cruise, soon!
Tomorrow it's back to the real world!
