Carnival is not allowed to add a Cot on any ship built past 1999 (the Conquest came out in 2002).

This has nothing to do with the is a US Maritime Regulation.

I would suggest also booking the interior cabin across the hall. They will get VIP check in with you since the cabins will be LINKED.

If it is Carnival and it floats....we have sailed it!

Hubby ... DIAMOND (every ship except the Carnivale)
Me ... DIAMOND (every ship starting with the Tropicale)
20 year old son ... DIAMOND (every ship starting with the Tropicale...he is the only DOUBLE Milestone under the age of 21)
24 year old son ... DIAMOND
