Yes, the weather does affect the autumn colors in New England, but you'll be sure to see some magnificient foliage somewhere along the way. Be prepared for any weather October can vary from snowflakes to 80 degrees (and though rare, we do get hurricanes). As we locals say, "If you don't like the weather in New England, just wait a minute."
