We often carry on a few plastic bottles of Dr Pepper but I still ask for Dr Pepper even when I know it isnít available, hoping that someday enough requests will lead to more places selling it.

My question though is, why do half of the serving people respond with ďNo, but we have Root BeerĒ. I have never met anyone that thinks Dr. Pepper tastes like Root Beer. Why is that considered a universal substitute? I get that same response all across the country and now also on Carnival ships. I donít understand. :???:
