I'm enjoying your commentary on the EPIC as I am scheduled to be on the two night media cruise out of New York and the christening ceremony. I too met up with Mr Ward aboard the Solstice. We sat and had a very fun discussion about the cruise industry today and what it was like in the trans-Atlantic days. For anyone interested, I interviewed Doug Ward on my talk show. From all that I have seen of the EPIC so far, she looks like an interesting ship, perfect for mass-market. What is particularly appealing is the children's programs onboard with a very cool water park area. NCL seems to have been successful in bringing back the class system somewhat with their villa areas that are exclusive and hidden away from the masses.
