Thumbs down Ironing

It amazes me that there are people out there who still iron. I can't remember the last time I used an iron. That's the nice thing about permanent press--NO IRONING! If I am contemplating buying a new garment and see the word "iron" on the tag--back it goes on the rack. If I forget to take things out of the dryer and they get wrinkled again--back they go after dampening at the stationary tub faucet.
I do use a wrinkle releaser on cruises and it works fine. Last year my friend and I did use the ship's laundry a couple of times, mainly because of spills (she spilled OJ on my lap on the plane and one of us dribbled chocolate down the front of a top--both beyond sink washing). Each time the bag went out we threw in a few other things to fill it. Using the coupons that came with our room helped cut down on the cost. Life's too short to worry about ironing.
