Hi Kevren05, thanks for your reply. Actually I was talking to a friend of mine who plans to go with me on one of those weekend cruises offered BY NCL, departing from Miami, just to see if cruising is my cup of tea or not. Hey what can I say - I am a landlubber

.I heard lots and lots of excellent reviews about the studio cabins from almost all the cruise/travel sites. Also my condolesences over the loss of your partner.
