I have been on 11 cruises. Carnival, HAL, and others. This cruise on the Glory was the BEST yet. It was a 5 night to Canada from New York City. The ship is spectacular. It never ends, so many places to see. The entertainment was 2nd to none. Live music all over the place. A Latin trio, a Philippine Band called Music Connection, A pianist, another piano bar guy, a singer/guitarist with his own accompaniment. A reggae/island band and many more. They played at various venues through out the ship so there is no excuse to miss any of them. The best word to describe the live bands is "WOW"
The food, the never ending buffet..... unbelievable.
The service.... I don't think I've ever met such courteous people in my life. They were genuine, friendly, helpful people that seemed only to want my individual vacation to be the best.
The ship was beautiful from top to bottom. Spotlessly clean.
The casino will have some extra money now to help keep it running, lol. Not so good to me. But I had fun.
My favorite spots were the Azur Pool area way aft on the Lido Deck. Quiet covered pool area with Pizza, Grill, Bar, coffee, ice cream, and adjacent to the buffet. Not busy, not loud. Perfect!!! Also fell in love with the Adult Serenity area.
No negatives. I could go on and on. And I will at work next week.... :-)
You did good on your inaugural cruise, made sure mine was perfect. I have NO complaints. Believe it or not, everything was perfect. Have a GREAT cruise
