Two words - Dual Voltage.

There is a 110v and a 220 volt outlet typically in a Carnival stateroom.

On our recent Carnival Triumph cruise there were two 110v outlets and one 220v. If the 110s are on the same circuit, two heating devices might blow the breaker. Your mileage my vary.
